This was really a dream come true. I wanted to taste what it was like to be a pioneer woman, in the prairie. All that was missing was my kids and a rifle. I have always been impressed with the ruggednesses, toughness, resilience, and courage these women had to defend their families on their land. To travel across this vast country on wild terrain.

Never mind that my ancestors on my dad’s side traveled with Pat Boon, and ran in the Oklahoma Run. That we go as far back as Richard Stockton signing the Declaration of Independence. I am definitely not done exploring these fine woman on the plains.

This is probably the dumbest comment ever but…I totally love your sepia pic. It is the look I’d love for my website. If I credited your site, might I use the photo? I need a new look there LOL. I write romance novels set in the old west.

    thank you…
